Custom software, fully remote
Software for the process only you have.
Internal tools, customer portals and integrations where off-the-shelf software doesn't fit. From the first call to running in production.
For owner-run companies and mid-sized businesses whose processes live in Excel, email and paper, or who want to give their customers their own access.

Where you are
The Excel sheet has become the database.
With versions in the file name, one person who understands it, and formulas nobody touches anymore.
Someone retypes what customers have already entered.
From PDF forms, from emails, from the phone. Every day, with typos.
Customers ask for the status by email.
Because there is no place where they can look it up themselves.
The systems don't talk to each other.
Inventory, accounting, shop, calendar. In between, a person copies.
Scope
Internal web applications and dashboards. One place for one process: data entry, approvals, reports, roles and permissions. In the browser, on the phone too.
Customer portals. Your customers see status, documents and orders themselves, with their own access. Your team answers fewer emails.
Integrations. Connections between existing systems through their APIs, webhooks or files, so data is entered once and correct everywhere.
Automation, with AI too. Automate the steps that repeat. AI where it really helps, such as reading documents, and always with a person approving where it matters.
Reading documents automatically. Invoices, forms, ID documents or medical reports become structured data, with the personal details on them found and masked first. With Tessika, my own document engine, on your own infrastructure.
Operations after launch. Wherever you want it: on your own server in Germany, with a cloud provider or on a platform such as Vercel. With updates, tested backups and monitoring. If data protection matters, I tell you what the location means for it; the decision is yours.

miBaguette(opens in a new tab)
The complete digital surface of a restaurant: menu, pre-ordering with pickup times, reservations and a dashboard with eleven sections in which the owners maintain dishes, prices, opening hours and texts themselves, without a developer. Next.js, React, Postgres. In operation since the restaurant opened at the end of August 2026.
Foundation
My own control plane, on which most of my projects run, including this website. Your application can run on it too: application, database, storage and backups on one server, without a separate bill for every cloud service.
Tessika
My document engine: it reads PDFs, scans and phone photos straight from the image, masks names, dates of birth, ID numbers and faces, checks the masking by reading again and returns a clean, structured record. Runs in your own environment.
Enjin Governance(opens in a new tab)
A web client for Enjin's on-chain governance, published as open source.
Panoptes and RepoCanary
For me, security is part of building: Panoptes is my own research into automated security reviews, RepoCanary an open scanner for malicious code in repositories.
I am one developer, not a team. You have one contact, who is also the one who builds, and nothing passes through three pairs of hands. If your project needs several people in a short time, I tell you in the first call, not after the first milestone.
Questions
What does a custom web application cost?
Small tools are in the low five figures, larger portals above that. A reliable number comes after the scoping sprint, not before. Anyone who names a fixed price before the sprint is either calculating with a lot of buffer or with change orders.
Why does the scoping sprint cost money?
Because it is work that belongs to you: you get a process description, a data model and a milestone plan you can take to someone else too. And because a paid sprint protects both sides from agreeing a fixed price on the basis of guesses.
Do I own the code?
Yes. Source code, data and documentation are yours once paid for, and the repository can sit with you from day one if you like.
Does the application have to run in Germany?
No. It runs where it suits you: on your own server, with a cloud provider or on a platform such as Vercel. A server in Germany is an option if data protection, control or predictable costs matter to you, not a must.
What about data protection?
A server in Germany does not make an application compliant with data protection law by itself. I implement the technical measures (encryption, access rights, logging, backups) and help with the data processing agreement and the description of the technical and organisational measures. The legal assessment is made by your data protection officer.
Do you work with AI?
Yes, when developing and wherever it brings real value in your application. None of your data goes to an AI provider without agreement, and where an AI suggests something, a person decides on the important steps.
Do you come by?
In the region, gladly: Pforzheim, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart. A process is often better understood on site in an hour than in three phone calls. Most projects, though, run fully remote over video calls, in Germany and internationally.
